Despite all the time that's passed since that situation, I still think that he could have gone about the entire thing a different way...word of advice to all boys: never, EVER tell a girls best friend that you like the other girl. The best friend will, of course, tell the other girl, and the other girl will get her hopes up. Don't be an ass about it, don't beat around the bush with it, and be fucking truthful. AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STOP TALKING TO THE OTHER GIRL AFTER SHE TELLS YOU SHE LIKES YOU. Itll just create a whole lot of unpleasentness that could have been avoided if you hadn't told her best friend you liked her in the first place. |
